Greetings friends and family! We are so excited about Christmas this year! Stella and Max have been to see Santa. Stella has been very firm in her desire for a Vet Play Center with play puppy and kitty. Max isn't saying what he wants, but Stella insists he wants cars! We have been watching holiday movies to get into the spirit (as if the snow and Christmas tree aren't enough!) and listening to lots of Christmas music.
Max will be 2 tomorrow and we'll celebrate with Grandma and Granpa Chegwidden. Max seems pretty oblivious of the birthday thing, so tomorrow may be quite a suprise! We did celebrate with Baboo and Poppa Horwedel this past weekend, but i'm not sure he knew why he was getting presents! Max is growing up so fast and is going to have to move to a big boy bed soon, as he's decided it might be fun to crawl out of the crib!
Stella is very interested in Santa Claus and his reindeer this year. She is learning lots of holiday songs at her school and doing holiday crafts. The wait to Christmas much seem so incredibly long at this age! I can't wait to see her on Christmas morning.
We will spend Christmas (and some days preceding) in Illinois with the Horwedel family this year. Joel, Jenny and Jack will join us there and we look forward to a wild time!
Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season. And of course, a Happy New Year!
